The Governing Board meeting was held in Barcelona 24th of November 2022. This was the first time that the members of the Governing Board met in person since end of 2021.
The meeting started in the afternoon of the 23rd with a presentation of the findings from the Foresight workshop. Luc van Hof presented the work and the outcome, the Blue Economy Research needs. In the evening a BlueBio Consortium dinner was organised by the coordination team. The next day discussions continued on the financials, the status of the Work Packages and other items that are a part of standard agenda as described in the Consortium Agreement.
The project portfolio of funded projects was presented with an overview of were they fit in the Technology Readiness Level and which value chains are covered. It was decided that the final consortium meeting would be held in spring 2024 and the end-term meeting of the cofunded projects and the mid-term meeting of the 1st call projects, in Lisbon 7-8 June 2023.
Among important decisions that were made was the finalisation of the third additional call. The scope of the 3rd Additional Call is amplifying project reach and knowledge impact. More on the call go here.
